Gelukkige Spanning, Happy Nervous Anticipation.

Tja, daar zitten we dan bijna weer " helemaal uitgeteld " op de bank!

We weten nu bijna een week dat we ouders en broertje worden van Kieran Kuyanda.
En de : hoe voel je, je nu en hoe gaat het nu verder en wat vind Matthew er van vragen, zijn allemaal gesteld en soms naar behoren soms met ' ik weet het niet'  en dus onvoldoende beantwoord...

De vraag is (voor ons) natuurlijk ook heel erg Hoe voelt Kieran zich ?
Wat weet hij ? Wat is hem (al) wel / niet verteld, Hoe en door Wie ?
Het is me wat, maar Daar is hij dan !

We hebben lang gewacht en vooral de laatste maanden waren verre van leuk te noemen.
Wat we zelf (soms) en onze collega's (zeker!) gemerkt hebben.
Het is nog een beetje onwerkelijk, het gaat nu in een stroomversnelling en we hebben er nu een aantal nieuwe vragen bij gekregen, zoals je boven de foto al kunt lezen!
We zijn blij! Hebben nerveuze spanning en willen niets liever dan hem zien!
Matthew is denk ik, in 1 woord vooral trots! Trots dat hij grote broer mag worden, trots dat het nu eindelijk gaat gebeuren hij op reis mag, op avontuur, om zijn broetje te ontmoeten.

Omdat we de eerste zijn die weer via onze vergunninghouder naar Kenia gaan is het pionieren.
Dat is leuk en avontuurlijk maar betekend natuurlijk dat er veel onbekend is, dat is nu eenmaal het geval.
Weinig te pionieren als alles bekend is, niet waar ;-))

We moeten nog eea organiseren, het huis wordt verhuurd, accomodatie in Nairobi is geregeld.
Nu er heen en dan zien we wel wat ons gaat overkomen, het avontuur is nu pas echt begonnen!

Hopelijk blijft U en jullie bij ons, en gaan met ons mee op avontuur,
Denk aan ons, lach met ons, laat een traantje en hoop met ons en bid voor ons.
We zullen het allemaal nodig hebben & het waarderen!

Graag wil ik hier nog een keer uitdrukkelijk Rita, Taco & Mireille en onze families bedanken, zonder jullie was dit avontuur nooit begonnnen, en dat realiseren we ons maar al te goed!

So, there we are again, nearly "totally worn out" on the settee!

We no know for nearly a week that we will become parents and brother to Kieran Kuyanda.
And the: how do you feel, how is it going and what does Matthew think questions, are all asked and sometimes answered, sometime 'I (we) do not know' so not sufficiently answered...

The Question is (for us) off course also very much How does Kieran feel ?
What does he know ? What is he (already) told / or not told, and How and by Whom ?
Questions, questions... Bur here he is!

We have waited a long time and espescially the last months were no fun at all.
Sometimes we noticed that but certainly our colleagues did.
It has all been a bit unreal, everything is moving at high speed now and we some new questions now, as you can tell.
We are happy! Have a nervous anticipation of what is to come and want nothing else than to see him!
Matthew is in 1 word, proud! Proud that he can become a big brother now, proud that it will finally happen, that he may go on a big trip, an adventure, and meet his little brother.

Because it is the first time again that we will go to Kenya through our agency, we are pioneers.
That is fun and adventurous but also means, that a lot is unknown, that is the case.
There is not much of an adventure if all is known already, don't you think so ; -))

We have to organise somethings still,the house is rented out, for our first week in Nairobi accomodation is arranged.
Now we can go, and we will see, what will happen to us, now the adventure relly starts.

Hopefully you will stay with us, and will come with us on this adventure,
Think about us, laugh with us, shed a tear, and have hope with us and pray for us.
We will all need it & appreciate it!
